About Espresso And Milk

I’m excited to introduce Espresso And Milk, a cozy coffee shop tucked into the heart of downtown Chicago at 20 N Wacker Dr Suite 105, Chicago, IL 60606, United States, and it’s the kind of place you stumble into once and immediately want to make part of your routine. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels relaxed and welcoming, with that familiar coffee aroma that signals you’re in the right spot. Espresso And Milk is all about keeping things simple but satisfying, which makes it perfect for busy mornings, casual meetups, or a quick pause between meetings in the Loop. The space has a clean, modern feel, yet it still manages to be warm and approachable, so you don’t feel rushed even when you’re just grabbing a quick bite. Coffee is clearly the star here, crafted with care and consistency, whether you’re stopping by for a strong espresso, a smooth milk-based drink, or something easy to sip while you work. What really stands out is how flexible the experience can be, because you can sit down and enjoy the moment, grab your order to go, or even take advantage of outdoor seating when the weather cooperates. On-site service is friendly and efficient, which matters when you’re navigating a packed schedule, and delivery options make it even easier to enjoy your favorite coffee without leaving your desk. The menu keeps things focused, offering quality coffee and quick bites that pair naturally with it, so nothing feels overcomplicated or overwhelming. As someone introducing this spot, I’d say Espresso And Milk fits effortlessly into the rhythm of downtown life, blending convenience with comfort and giving coffee lovers a reliable place to recharge, connect, or simply enjoy a well-made cup in a setting that feels easy and familiar. For locals and visitors alike, it quietly becomes a dependable stop where good coffee, an easy vibe, and practical service come together naturally during the day.

Long wait, but once you get the hang of their system you understand. It’s a high volume coffee shop. I love a good coffee but their matcha is so good! Highly recommend. Staff is nice and so is the gentleman in charge. Haven’t tried the pastries but they look delicious.

Sleek modern establishment with excellent coffee, super friendly baristas and highly engaged owner. We felt welcome the moment we walked in. Baristas are experts at their craft, carefully measuring and preparing each puck until just right while collaborating and sharing beat practices. I witnessed what looked like a nice puck being discarded because a senior employee wasn’t satisfied with its preparation. Sam the owner oversees the operation and loves talking about coffee and the source of his beans. Pride of ownership exhibited across the entire team. Cappuccino and cortado exuded strong arabica notes and crema was excellent. Americano also prepared expertly. Steam pressure is delivered via a modern under counter system which likely contributes to the high quality. There is no seating as small establishment is located in the opera building. Do yourself a favor and enjoy their excellent espresso and milk.

The first half of this drink was AMAZING. The espresso shot was pulled to perfection. However, it was personally way too sweet for me. And by the end, the sugary syrup all sunk to the bottom and it was like drinking syrup lol I would probably order a simpler latte with just honey next time. **there is no seating. This is a grab and go coffee shop

Very busy and popular spot with unique menu. There is still a line close to closing time but got my order in about 10 mins. Staff was friendly and helpful. Got the pink guava mocha, the chocolate sauce is rich and thick. It was a nice tasty chocolate treat with a hint of fruitiness.

Totally my new favourite coffee shop - beans are well balanced, flavours are delicious (black sesame is my go-to), the baristas know their stuff, and most of all very friendly. I asked them them if they sold merch and even when they did not, they managed to give me something from the back which I really appreciated. The visuals are definitely thematic - it's a minimalist space with white walls and the baristas all wear black (a la David Byrne and his crew if they were hipsters). Totally recommend checking the shop out!

One of my favorite matcha spots in the city, and I love matcha, so that is saying something! My go-to order from here is a matcha lemonade with strawberry lemonade.) The wait can be a bit long, so I recommend ordering for pickup through their app. But is definitely worth the wait. It is a wonderful spot for a midday treat!

A buzzing coffee stop in the Loop - the space is clean and modern, though it’s strictly to go without any seatings indoor. There are plenty of creative coffee options - I tried the black sesame latte, which was smooth with just the right touch of sweet. A great spot for a quick mid day caffeine fix.

This place was recommended to me by my friend Sam and boy did it live up to the hype. They have the best specialty lattes in the city. I first tried their panettone latte last holiday season and it was mind blowing how they were able to craft the drink to take exactly like the dessert. Went back recently and had their seasonal lattes. The Orange latte and the cinnamon raisins are both stellar. Will be back very often and can’t wait for their holiday menu soon.
